Event Details
Laurence Juber returns to SOHO with his trio: long-time studio collaborator Domenic Genova on upright bass/bass guitar and Christopher Allis on drums/percussion, LJ will perform on both acoustic and electric guitar, with an eclectic repertoire drawn from his own celebrated compositions and arrangements, as well as some choice Christmas tunes.

While most frequently seen as a solo acoustic guitarist, LJ relishes the opportunity to stretch out on electric too. Bassist Domenic Genova was featured on LJ’s award-winning audiophile project ‘Guitar Noir’, and can be regularly heard on TV as the bass player on ‘Family Guy’ and other hit shows. Christopher Allis was the drummer with Michael Nesmith’s First National Band, and has performed with Peter Asher and LJ’s old Wings’ bandmate, Denny Laine, amongst others.

“Juber scores high marks for the clarion precision of his playing and for his tasteful arrangements” - Downbeat

“A Master!“-  Pete Townshend, The Who

Special guest Richard T Bear combines a keyboard style rooted in Dr John and Leon Russell with a narrative songwriting voice of his own.

He boasts a career spanning over 40 years as a distinctive singer, songwriter & keyboard player that led to a string of acclaimed solo albums & collaborations with numerous music icons including Al Kooper, former Rascals Gene Cornish and Dino Danelli, Kiss, Pat Benatar, Cher and many more.

He’s recorded with Crosby, Stills & Nash, Billy Squier & The Blues Brothers. His recent album ‘Fresh Bear Tracks’ features a mix of blues, rock and soul with a stellar line-up of guests including Stephen Stills, Robby Krieger, Edgar Winter, Tom Scott, Walter Trout, and Benmont Tench.
