Lucinda Lane is an original band built around the empathetic core of singer Nicole Lvoff and guitarist/songwriter Joe Woodard, working in a hybrid style they call "IndyBossaJazzTwang." This first show since the pre-COVID days will be opened by Paper Moon. The Lane is currently at work on its debut album--finally. Nicole has often played SOhO with her jazz group and released the album Here’s That Rainy Day, and Joe’s live/recording projects include Headless Household and flapping, Flapping.
Paper Moon (Brett Larsen, Liz Caruso and Liz Barnitz) offers up three-part harmony hijinks on tunes from a jumble of genres featuring accordion, guitar and beat box brushes.
