The Santa Barbara Jazz Society is very excited about its Sunday, January 9 event with the Dave Tull Trio at SOhO from 1 to 4pm. Dave has long been known as one of the world’s finest jazz drummers…..he’s Barbra Streisand’s drummer! Over the past decade he has built a reputation as a gifted jazz singer and songwriter…. his lyrics are compelling and creative. Plus, while he makes you laugh with some song messages, others inspire introspection and soul searching. Rounding out the trio are pianist Otmaro Ruiz and Kevin Act on bass. If you want to be totally entertained with fine jazz along with extreme humor, you won’t want to miss this event!
You can renew your SBJS membership at the door the day of the concert or online on our website. Admission to the event is $25 for members, $35 for non-members, $10 for full-time students, and local jazz musicians with membership. Tickets are available ONLY at the door and doors open at 12:30pm.
