Many of you have asking when we were going to feature Latin Jazz….Well, that time has arrived! On Sunday, January 15, we are presenting the Dennis Berger Quintet with the Martinez Bros and Ruben Estrada. Both Ruben and Dennis are fine pianists and will share piano duties so that Dennis can play his saxophone as well. Ruben Martinez plays bass and flute with brothers, Lorenzo on percussion and Rene on drums. If you like bossas, mambos and more, you’ll want to be there. Ruben Estrada has been a legendary latin jazz player in the Oxnard-Ventura-Santa Barbara area since the 1950’s and earlier. We can promise that this will be an exciting afternoon of Latin Jazz.

Admission to the event is $20 for Jazz Society members, $10 for professional jazz musicians and singers and full time students, and $25 for non-members. Doors open at 12:30 and seating is limited, so plan to arrive early.
